At the beginning of each acquisition, American Capital partners assigns a management team that performs extensive due diligence and risk assessment, reviews current operations, benchmarks the property against comparable properties in the area and finalizes a business plan. After acquisition, the team establishes tenant relations, implements a capital expenditures program and marketing plan and, if needed, rebrands the property. It continually reassesses its operating plan, leasing goals and objectives, strategy and capital projects. The team will apply that information to alternative value enhancement strategies when necessary.
