Bad credit credit cards and how to discover more
What makes student credit cards ideally suited to students? The most important difference is that it's easier to be approved for a student credit card. Regular credit cards want assurance that you are a good credit risk: a long credit history, a certain level of income. When you have never had a credit card and you have a low paying college job, meeting the requirements of a regular credit card can be tough. However, credit card issuers who offer student credit cards have taken this into account. Some require you to have a cosigner, usually a parent or guardian, whose own income is high enough to assure that the credit bills will be paid.
